As an integral part of the newly formed Creative Design & Development Group, I was
responsible for designing, prototyping, detailing, value engineering and building customized retail furniture and fixtures in close partnerships with a large variety of major retail brands including: Aeropostale, Anthropologie, Art of Shaving, Athleta, Banana Republic, BHLDN, Bloomingdale’s, Boscov’s, Boyd’s, Burt’s Bees, CK, Crocs, DKNY, Gap, Just Born, King Arthur Flour, Lee, Lord & Taylor, NewTree, NYDJ, Quiksilver, REI, Roxy, Spanx, TaylorMade-Adidas, and Urban Outfitters.

As a central player in a multidisciplinary product development group I was responsible for
providing research, design, prototyping, testing, documentation, specification and evaluation of all new products. These responsibilities necessitated close involvement with personnel in all departments and stages of product development up to and including final production. I also represented Innovative at various trade shows and meetings around the world. I had a pivotal role in the design and engineering of the following award winning products: Busby™ USB Mount, EVO™ Monitor Arm & Pole Mount, Cricket™ Laptop Stand, Original EVO™ Monitor Arm & Laptop Arm, MOOV™ Medical Cart System, and IOP 9400 Medical Boom Arm

strategic method (which is always open for tweaking) to create and develop award winning and marketable products and solutions:
1. Evaluate the market and determine areas of opportunity with marketing and sales groups
2. Meet with potential clients to observe and understand their wants and needs
3. Develop project scopes based on requirements for target markets and customers
4. Brainstorm concepts through sketching, CAD, model making and rapid prototyping
5. Work with engineering and machine shop professionals to design and test models
6. Design the look, feel and function of the product(s) with great attention to every detail

8. Work with domestic and foreign manufacturers on tooling and production methods

Responsible for designing and retrofitting custom brake solutions for large industrial
machinery such as in dragline cranes and wind turbines.

Responsible for submitting concepts used in the initial stages of product design and
development. This included research, brainstorming, design and prototyping of outdoor lighting and children’s furniture concepts.
