David is an Industrial Designer with 15 years of professional design, development & engineering experience and a proven track record of transforming design concepts and ideas into award winning products.
David has been a freelance Industrial Designer for a number of clients since 2011. He and his wife, Rachel moved to France in 2014 and he spent five years volunteering his time working among international students. Now he and his family live in a renovated Airstream Travel Trailer so that they can travel and help Christian camps with maintenance work and special projects. He has been using his CAD skills to help Christian ministries with construction projects both in France and in the US.
2011 to 2013 he worked as an Industrial Designer with Fleetwood Fixtures, a retail furniture manufacturer. From 2005 to 2011 he played a pivotal role in the design and development of the award-winning Cricket™ Laptop Stand and EVO™ Laptop Arm at Innovative Office products, a high-end office product manufacturer. Both products have won many awards, including Cricket™ receiving an Honorable Mention by Red Dot in 2008, and EVO™ taking home Silver in Best of NeoCon in 2007 and the 2006 Red Dot Award.
